Laodicea – The Lukewarm Church
In this final episode of our series on
the Seven Churches of Revelation, we journey to the prosperous city of
Laodicea, where Jesus delivers one of the most sobering messages found in all
of Scripture.
"You are neither cold nor hot...
because you are lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth." (Revelation
3:15–16)
Why would Jesus speak such strong words
to a successful church? What made Laodicea spiritually complacent despite its
wealth and influence? And what does this ancient message reveal about our own
