This is his new book. As I said, I have not read it yet, but It really does sound good. Here is some information I found on the book.
Once he had performed in his family's gospel band, but now most of his loved ones have passed on. Still known as Danny Gospel, he is living a sedate, quiet life as a postman in a small Iowa town. Soon his tranquil existence is broken open by, a dream, a vision, a sign? a beautiful woman he is sure is his "beloved."
Logic and sense tucked safely out of harms way, Danny launches a quest to find his true love. Always good-natured, he is a hero on a journey-dreaming impossible dreams and, no matter how much he must suffer, pursuing romance and heavenly glory. But is his quest really for a vision of beauty, or is it a journey through pains too deep to name and emotions too raw to feel?
On a separate but somewhat related note:
I have three favorite books of all time, they are not classics, but they entranced me, one who is not a huge recreational reader, and still to this day, I hold memories of the all-too-real characters...
One of my brothers read one of the books, and He said it changed his life.
My brother, who had fallen away from church, Not in faith, but in practice, after reading the book felt the desire and need to return to confession after 20 years and then returned to regular attendance at Mass. (It changed his Life)
What makes it even better, the books are free from
Saint Jude Media and the author is Bud Macfarlane JR.

I also read one of these books. However, Bud Macfarlane left his wife, who refuses to divorce him and is living in sin with his lover (who also has a child by him.) Since he is one who does not live his "faith" I'm not sure how quick I'm going to be to read the others. Why should I fund his newest lifestyle?
I had heard of some of what you have written, But I also think of past sin in my life. I pray for him.....I do not know the whole story and I feel for his wife and family. The fact of funding his life style....The books are free....And they are books that talk about faith, love, forgiveness, and struggle....The books have changed the life of so many, so many sinners, Jesus came for the sinners.....
