A few years ago we participated in a "Family Fest," which is a one week long summer vacation at Catholic Family Land in rural Ohio near the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
It was the best vacation we ever had as a family.
It was a vacation surrounded by other catholic families, spending time together, playing together, praying together, swimming, riding horses, baseball games, water slides, bonfires, singing, etc.
It was a wholesome vacation.
It showed me that life can be lived with modesty, kindness, charity and love.
There were 90 families that had sooo much fun together.......
The funny thing was our family that year consisted on 4 people, a mom, a dad, and two kids, all the other families had between 6-8 kids each. We look like a pitiful small family.......It was so nice to see large catholic families.
We are so excited to be returning again this year.
