Merry Christmas

I would like to wish all of you a

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas is a very special time for Christians. It is a time to reflect and give homage to our God who in such humility became human, to share in our humanity, so we could share in his divinity.

It is a time of great Joy in recognition that Jesus came for all people, not just the chosen Israelites, but for the gentiles as well. He is a Savior for the whole world, every race, every nation, for all people.

We are to be a people of Joy and Love knowing that Jesus, born of the Virgin, raised by Joseph, was and is a light to this world, and through our baptism, we are brothers and sister of Jesus and can call our God, "Father."
