Do we forget that we are to be stewards of our own bodies as well.
God gave us this body to be an instrument, an instrument used for His greater glory.
If we trash our bodies, what is that saying about our respect for God's gift.
If we neglect our bodies, what is that saying about our thoughts of the importance of serving others. With a body that can barely function, how can it be used for others?
And if we truly are made in the image and likeness of God, does disrespect for our bodies somehow represent our thoughts about God?
