Liz and I decided that this would be a good weekend to make-over our kitchen. We thought we would start with the cabinets. We had no idea what we were doing, so we both grabbed a computer and watched a few you-tube videos on Faux painting, compared notes, got a game plan together and hit Home Depot.
We prepped the cabinets and the floor and then we were ready to be creative.
We chose the "Plastic Subtrative" Techique.
We went to bed thinking that we really didn't know what we were doing and that we had totally messed up our kitchen. Well - we prayed that we would be able to fix it and then thought..... If we just repeat the process again, it might just look alright.
After 2 cups of coffee, a lot of work, mostly my wife, I was just the "Prep-Guy," it actually turned out nice.
What a weekend.....
Kitchen make-over, painted the front door "Clover Green" in honor of our Irish Heritage, painted the house trim, Cleaned the garage, attacked the weeds with round-up (1 Acre), Preached 2 Homilies (Sat at OLM, and Sunday in the mountains at Shingletown).
But the best part was that I was with my family all weekend.......
