The perfect Gym is the gym that you don't have to drive to. My perfect gym is in my garage.
Liz and I hit the Gym at 5:30 am each morning.
I can do almost everything with this piece of equipment, including heavy bench, squats, etc...
The Dumbbells
The "Manly" Dumbbells
The Elliptical, the Bike, and the weight scale left over from when we owned the clinics
(That is another story)
I still have a ways to go, but slowing getting back into shape...
God willing, I will be back in shape by summer....
I thought I was doing pretty well, a few months ago I started doing Push-ups and Crunches 2 x day (Morning and Night).
I was feeling pretty macho and informed my son that I was now up to 45 push-ups and 225 crunches, 2 x's day.
Sean said that was great. I asked him how many push-ups he was doing before he went to bed at night, Sean responded "about 125."
Another dose of reality, I'm not so macho.....
