I woke up early to work out with my wife in our "Garage Gym."
I rushed off to work, the psychiatric hospital with a little "over the top" today.
I rushed home for lunch to get a glimpse of my family and grab some food, then back to work.
I rushed to my second job to squeeze in a little work at one of the houses for the severely retarded.
I rushed to a friend's house to borrow his 16 foot trailer so I could pick up some booths for the Church Festival on Saturday.
I rushed to the church to attend the Pastoral Council Meeting: The Council Chair could not attend, so without notice I was asked to lead the meeting.
And now it is 8:00 pm and I am free to return home.
I was greeted by my beautiful daughter who took me out into the garage to show me her new dance moves that she learned in dance class today.
My son showed me his hurt knee from soccer and I gave him instructions on how to rehab the knee in time for soccer on Thursday.
I greeted my wife.
Although the day was much busier than I would of liked, it was still full on people, and relationships.
It gave me the opportunity to not think of myself, but rather my service to those in need, and to accept the help of others.
I could not imagine coming home to an empty house.
I returned home tired, but greeted by a family who loves me, cares for me, and nourishes me.
Thank you God for all you have given to me and continue to give to me.
