I was looking at my daughter's blog the other day and saw this great poem that she wrote regarding Christmas. I read it a few times and then the thought hit me, the thought that she, Mackenzie, really gets it. What I mean is that she really gets what Christmas is all about.
It's Christmas Eve
and Santa is coming I do believe,
Last year I wanted a doll
but instead, I got a gift card to the mall.
But, Christmas is not about presents,
It is about Jesus' birth and "PRESENCE."
