Can you see it coming?

Here is a picture of my son warming up for his football game. He is a good athlete and as you can tell by the picture, he is focused on the ball and will make the catch.

In life, when we see things coming, we can usually adjust or prepare and effectively deal with the situation. However, it is the things in life that we don't see coming, that really give us opportunity. What type of opportunity, you might ask?

1. Opportunity to place our life situation in God's hands.

2. Opportunity to sometimes ask for help, humbling ourselves.

3. Opportunity to learn.

4. Opportunity to forgive and to be forgiven.

Although it might be difficult when those life surprises show themselves, it is always a time for growth.
