Communion Meal
Here are a group of Teens during a recent REACH Retreat having a meal together.
In our busy culture, so many families don't even have time together at dinner anymore.
There is something very special about coming together as a family, or a community, and sharing a meal.
When we do this, we not only feed our physical bodies, but we also feed our spirit with conversation, sharing, laughter, discussion, and support.
If we chose to live busy lives, we should at least try and get together daily with our family and share this special time together.
Without the evening meal, when does a family share their day, their life, with the other members of the family?
Choosing to skip or avoid the evening meal is only cheating you and your family from an opportunity that cannot be replaced or retrieved at a later time.
I have met so many adults who stated that their main regret in life is that they didn't spend enough time with their kids when they were growing up. They are brought to tears when they realized that the opportunity that God gave them was ignored due to selfishness.
