What a GREAT name and idea for a Catholic men's group rooted in deep spirituality. "Men of the Cross". Nice.
So, am I a Man of the Cross? Do I say or do things against popular culture and authority that is based on truth and love? Can I stand to be ridiculed for upholding what is good and right? Am I willing to stand firm in the face of evil and bend my knee at the sound of His Holy name?
Lord, give me the strength to carry the wood as You have done. Help me to endure the thorns and the nails. And, when my life here is complete, if it is pleasing to You, carry me to my home and let me rest in Your loving embrace. Amen.
