During my diaconal ordination, Bishop Weigand gave me the following instruction from the Ordination Rite as together we gripped the Book of the Gospels:
"Receive the Gospel of Christ, whose herald you now are.
Believe what you read.
Teach what you believe.
Practice what you teach."
This words are forever impressed into my being.
I so often reflect on these words and try to evaluate if I am living up to my promise.
Do you ever think about your life? Your Promises?
Marriage promises......
Promises to you children......
Promises at work....
Promises to your spouse....
Promises to you parents......
Promises to your friends and neighbors......
Promises to yourself.......
